The Wild and Witchy Cocktail is a delicious blackberry martini that's easy to make and is perfect for a party. Its spooky color is a lot of fun to serve for Halloween. But it's also delicious to serve anytime, especially when blackberries are in season.
Mash the blackberries as the sugar and water mixture heat.
Add the fruit to the water and sugar mixture and simmer (about 10 minutes) until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture has thickened.
Let the mixture cool.
Run through a strainer or piece of cheesecloth to remove any seeds or remaining fruit pieces.
How to Make the Wild and Witchy Cocktail
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the vodka, grape juice, a generous squeeze of lemon and the simple syrup. Add a dash or two of edible glitter.
Shake until well mixed then strain into a martini glass.
Garnish with a slice of lemon and a few blackberries or your choice of garnish.
Notes
Note: The blackberry simple syrup should keep for about a month in the refrigerator if you add a splash of vodka and store it in a sealed container. Please note that nutrition facts are subject to change based on your choice of ingredients.
