And you can easily make a mocktail instead by using club or lemon-lime soda in place of the vodka.

There’s nothing quite like the luscious flavors of fresh peaches and blackberries on a summer day.

Except maybe when you mix the two together.

And blending the two in our homemade simple syrup is just delicious.

It only takes about 20 minutes to make the homemade simple syrup, and you can make it ahead of time too.

Without preservatives, it will keep in the refrigerator for about a month.

You’ll find that the simple syrup recipe makes more than you need for a single drink, so I’d love to hear how you plan to use the rest of it.

You can always make more cocktails, but it’s also really good to pour the remainder over some vanilla ice cream for a sundae.

The raspberry peach syrup also makes a great DIY gift!

Yes! So glad you enjoyed it! And making a big batch of the syrup is a great idea. If you make a really big batch that you want to keep for a month or so, add a splash of 151 or vodka to it. That will help it keep longer.
